The Björn-Steiger Foundation provides a special emergency ambulance to rescue new-borns and premature babies. Since 2017, Catnic has been the main sponsor of this sort of vehicle, many of which are in use across Germany. Each ambulance is called Felix (the lucky one), and the name says it all. Udo Berg, General Manager at Catnic Germany, emphasised: “We are truly committed to this project and will continue to support it”.
This special vehicle provides somewhere for severely ill babies to receive intensive medical care. There is also an incubator on board. This means that the vehicle is equipped with all the necessary means to ensure fast, safe transport to the nearest suitable hospital.
