The gymnasium of the Johannes-Häußler school in Neckarsulm was put in the spotlight by a special event on the 11th of October: Football Integration Day took place here for the fourth time. Pupils from Germany and refugee children trained together under qualified supervision of DFB A-licensed coach Jochen Bauer and former regional league player Eleftherios Avraam, true to the motto: "Football connects and overcomes all obstacles".
The objective of the integration project, named "Happy Integration Kids", is to provide sustainable support to children in the field of education and sport, thus enabling them to literally overcome boundaries. Catnic Germany gladly supported the project financially. Marketing manager Maren Ruhm was on site and surprised the children with small gifts.
